This Thanksgiving Mom and I were fortunate enough to be invited to a friend's home in San Diego to celebrate the holiday with her family. We were welcomed warmly and had a great time. Terrific to get mom out visiting with others as she truly enjoyed every minute.
On The Road To San Diego - Thanksgiving
At six a.m. I was awoken when mom was prepared and ready for the trip to San Diego. Unfortunately it took six more hours to prepare, the house, the packing, the people... to leave on this short trip. Finally we were off.
Thanksgiving Dinner
We both had such a nice time at this families Thanksgiving dinner and enjoyed everyone's company. Played board games, a card game named Golf and the cutest little girls ever. We didn't want to leave but did so after the meal around nine p.m. when we had no traffic what-so-ever to deal with. While it took six hours to arrive there, including a lunch stop, the drive home was completed in an hour and ten minutes.
