This morning as I read your words
I felt as we could fly like birds
To take our feeling to such a height
As if we are soaring in flight
I sat very still
And I was there
Like water washing over you
So gentle you can barely feel it
So profound that you just know it
This morning as I read your words
I took a breath and I was there
Being there for you, now and always

My Birthday Wish For You
To Allen, With Love for You.. Lois
My birthday wish for you
Is that the time is brief when you are blue
Your birthday wish for me
Is that we meet each other and are free to be
But I know it is not right
To be selfish about this plight
I still cannot help but know
There is a special connection, a special glow
Tonight I heard a song and the words rang true
Of all the things I wish for you…
I wish you hear these words ring true
from the one who can touch only you
“I want to stand with you on a mountain
I want to bathe with you in the sea,
I want to lay like this forever
Until the sky falls down on me,“
So on this note I ll close this poem
For you know.. too far Ill never roam.
