My Life and Yours

Careening through time and space has demanded that my eyes open wide
As my mind ploughs through all that matters and ever existed in our short time
Together, you and I are one as we handle life’s obstacles with diligence unknowingly
You and I are one with the universe of lost and found children of our decades

So many have touched our lives and so much experience entwines our generation
At times intrepid, yet with a feeling of unending solitude and challenge yet it goes on
This existence in search of the meaning of it all, in search of love and undying devotion
To touch the one that was forever meant to contain all of our love without turning to mist

I yearn for the passion to strike me as lightening from the heavens ignites my intensity
To gaze at the senseless romantic love and forever cradle you in my arms close to my chest
Wondering when my eyes meet yours if the emotions running through me are real
To gasp as my breath is carried away through the nighttime sky above us entombed in time

My life and yours are one in the same as all is one and everything has no end
The pain of our losses we share the joy of our cataclysmic lessons in life’s mistakes
To touch the heavens, to touch the feelings so deep we feel one another’s bodies
I find wonderment in fulfillment and joy in the solitude of life yet I am craving more

Through this lifetime experience we are in it all together with no turning back
No rhythm or reason to the feelings that continually flow through our bodies
We know not what we want but know when we have it we will be whole and true
For no one knows but us, no one knows the truth, no one determines our existence

I share this journey with you my love and know that if we never meet, I always loved you
Always realize that this journey we were born into had no direction and didn't know time
So if we never meet, it was you that I loved, it was you that I cared for and needed
One day we will be but spirits in the heavens above and will have stories to share
