I'm Not Amused
by Allen Williams circa 1992

Snow covered mountains carve trails
allowing the ice cold steel of a bobsled
to crackle in it's tracks

Skiers line as cattle among the tall
olive green pines which sway in the
breeze weeping

Is man at peace with his care
and treatment of the earth
around him, one might ask

Or are we just stripping
it's slopes for a ride
as if an amusement park
