Christmas Prayer

Loving Father, help us to remember the birth of Jesus
That we may share in the song of the angels
Close the door on hate and open the door of love, kindness
Good desires with every greeting

Give us strength in times of doubt
As countless other families this year loss has come
Let my Father know how much he is missed
How proud we are of him and hope he is proud of us

We are thankful for 92 years of his presence
And truly believe that he is in a better place
We hope he is proud of us and how we carry on
Thank you for bringing this family into our lives

Thank you for Nadja and Alexandra and all their patience, love and understanding
Thank you for bringing Alex and Helen safely to our home
Thank you for Elizabeth and all her help throughout the year
Thank you for the strength in my Mother Jane

Thank you for allowing us to see the light and how blessed we are
We will do our best to grow and remember to not tak anything for granted
For all things pass
All things are remembered and cherished in your name I pray
