So I keep this website journal in an effort to never forget.
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way
But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way
I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all
Moons and Junes and Ferris wheels
The dizzy dancing way you feel
As every fairy tale comes real
I've looked at love that way
But now it's just another show
You leave 'em laughing when you go
And if you care, don't let them know
Don't give yourself away
I've looked at love from both sides now
From give and take, and still somehow
It's love's illusions I recall
I really don't know love at all
Tears and fears and feeling proud
To say "I love you" right out loud
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds
I've looked at life that way
Oh but now old friends are acting strange
They shake their heads, they say I've changed
Well something's lost but something's gained
In living every day
I've looked at life from both sides now
Fron WIN and LOSE and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all
I've looked at life from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all
Joni Mitchell
It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.
It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dreams, and for the adventure of being alive.
It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, and if you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain.
I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own; without moving to hide it, face it, or fix it.
I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being human.
It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself, and if you can bear accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul, I want to know if you can be faithful and therefore be trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see beauty even when it is not pretty every day, and if you can source your life from God’s presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure, your and mine, and still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the sliver of the full moon, “YES”!
It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done for the children.
It doesn't interest me who you are or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the Center of The Fire with me and not shrink back.
It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away, I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

I Ching The Book Of Changes The Unchanging Truth
"The five blessings of life are: health, longevity, virtuous behavior, prosperity and natural death.
The five constant virtues are: propriety, benevolence, righteousness, wisdom and faith.
Those who live in accord with the universal subtle law are preserved.
Aim at human and spiritual nobility. There is one word that we can use as a motto for our entire life: reciprocity.
What we do not want done to ourselves, we must not do to others. The more we give to others, the more abundant our lives become.
In helping people and caring for life, our own lives will be very rewarding."
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz
"You could say that the eyes are an expression of what you feel, ...when you are angry you see the world with eyes of anger. If you are sad, you see the world with eyes of sadness, and everything you percieve will be sad. But if you have eyes of love, you see love wherever you go"
Give The World Your Best
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It never was between you and them anyway.
from A Farewell To Arms by Ernest Hemingway
The world breaks everyone
and afterward
many are strong at the broken places.
